...And I'm shattered.

It turns out that my discovery that the Florida Group creates a kind of shoe called the Van Dal was actually all I really needed to know about the company.

My temp job is essentially a desk job.  I file away order forms and wear a little headset so that I can take any orders that come in over the phone.  I also package shoes into boxes for shipping and stick the address labels on them.  Straight-forward and reasonably enjoyable - and I can now tell you the difference in texture between faux crocodile and lizard skin.  Fun and educational.

I think my first day went pretty well.  My first customer shook me somewhat as I answered the phone to a very angry man, but after that everything else went okay.  I was even complemented on my manner while answer the phone.  We Ryuuvians are always charming and polite you see.  I don't have to go in again until Monday now, and I'm quite looking forward to it.
