Hello everyone. Have finally gotten the internet back and so am free to start blogging again.
Thank-you to those of you who have sent me notes and emails expressing your concern over my last few blog entries. It really means a lot to know that you have been thinking about me.
Since we moved house, Vlad has been incredibly sweet and caring. I feel a lot more secure in our relationship. There have been no fights and I am not suffering like I was. Things are starting to look a lot better for us.
Our house is wonderful! As soon as I find the USB cable for my mobile phone I will go around and take some photos for you (although, we've still barely unpacked). We have four rooms downstairs (a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom) and three upstairs (two bedrooms and a tiny room that I can only assume is supposed to be a nursery or something). My mother has also sent up some of her old furniture so we have a few book shelves, a wardrobe, a chest of draws, a table with four chairs, an armchair, a sofa and two single beds to start us off. We've bought ourselves a small oven with a gas hob and a fridge/freezer as well. We've also ordered a washing machine and double bed but they have yet to arrive. Once they come, it will be like having a complete house.
I also very much like not having to share a house with students. It's a lot cleaner and it's nice to be able to have a whole house to live in rather than one room. The only problem thus far is that we seem to be getting the odd red ant in our living room so I really need to figure out where they're coming in from and put down so poison.
On the health front, I have now had my lumbar puncture and it turns out that increased pressure is not what's causing my papilledema either. I'm just waiting for them to get back to me to tell me what the next step will be. I also finally have had the large mole on my neck removed. It sounds strange, but I miss it. I keep touching my neck and being surprised just to find a small burn where it was. Vlad thinks I'm suffering from phantom mole syndrome.
Tomorrow, I'm going to take myself down to a local temp agency to start them off looking for a job for me. There's also a job faire in town on Thursday which I intend to just hand out a stack of CVs at. Hopefully I'll get a job soon before I run out of money...
