I think I've probably mentioned before about the Taoist belief that bad things follow good things in an unending cycle.

My main character in World of Warcraft, Kaylea the Undead Priest, reached level 80 today.  That's the highest level that you can currently reach in the game.  Now I don't have to worry about leveling her up, I can finally focus on making money, improving her alchemical skills and getting a girt-big dragon to ride around on.

Arkham Books is also doing very well.  So far this week I've sold seven books - two on Sunday, two yesterday and three today.  It's nice that I'm both making a little cash and getting rid of some clutter that would otherwise just be lying around our new house (when we eventually get it) gathering dust.

On a weirder note, Anne did reply to my email.  It turns out that she doesn't own a shop, she's working in one.  She also commented that while meeting me for a drink would be nice she's far too busy at work.  Funny.  I didn't know that anywhere gave twenty-four hour shifts any more.  She also failed to mention where she was working, so I can't just drop in unannounced.

The worst thing that's happened today is that Vlad managed to knock and cardboard box of my belongings into a bucket of water.  A dozen of the books that I wanted to keep have been utterly destroyed, as has my expensive digital camera.  Yet more money that I have to spend replacing things.  Vlad's birthday's coming up at least.  Unfortunately, he's going to be replacing my camera as way of a present, while also paying agency fees so that we can look for a house...
